Easy Removal Of Scratches From Glass Surfaces
Introducing Liquid Glass Shield Restore
Liquid Glass Shield is now able to offer glass preparation, abrasion and scratch removal kits for DIY and professional use. It’s essential that when applying Liquid Glass Shield to a glass surface that the surface is prepared carefully and dirt and imperfections are removed prior to application.
Under The Microscope
Glass is not smooth and although to the human eye it feels completely flat it is actually rough, similar to a lunar landscape. Small dirt and mineral deposits get trapped in the small crevices of the glass especially in hard water areas and when salty air is present in the environment. Buildings close to the sea such as marinas/beach residences and marine craft often have deposits present on the external surfaces of the glass. Shower screens also suffer from mineral deposits, which trap dirt, oil and soap which reduces the clarity of the glass. Although small, these deposits cause imperfections, which reduce the effectiveness of the Liquid Glass Shield coating.
Scratches on glass
We live with glass everyday, from our drinking glasses, smart phone screens, automotive glass and the glass in our homes and offices providing a window on the world. Glass is tough but can easily become damaged if cleaned incorrectly, accidently scratched during use or deliberately scratched with graffiti. Glass table and counter tops also become damaged and fine scratches are often found even on the most cared for surfaces. Our Restore kits will remove abrasion marks, light to heavy scratches even from vandalism.

What else do I need?
All of the above kits will require the operator/user to have their own buffing machine or standard power drill that the pads contained in the kits will fit onto. We suggest that you use a powered drill and not a battery operated unit, which may be damaged when used for continuous periods. If you don’t own a buffer or drill you order a professional unit from our website (insert link) which will include all the necessary instructions. Before ordering please check that you have ordered the correct unit that will suit your domestic electricity supply as this can change from country to country.
