Paper Bottles For The Hair, Beauty & Cosmetics Industry

Liquid Glass Shield & Bioshield Coating Solutions have begun production of paper bottles and containers designed specifically for the Hair & Beauty sector.  Traditionally most containers designed for this sector are manufactured from plastic, now liquids and gels can be supplied in a specially coated paper container that gives all the benefits of plastic without the significant drawbacks.  The coated bottle can even be used in a shower as the interior and exterior of the container is protected from moisture.

At present HairGlass is using the Boston “style” bottles for their Hair Food and Hair Protector products, they soon hope to supply the complete product portfolio in this type of container.  The only component that is made from recyclable plastic is the atomiser tops and caps.

The BCS range of coatings can also be used in other sectors where a moisture or oil barrier is required on a paper, card, wood pulp or sugar cane substrate.  Already certified for the food industry the range of coatings can be supplied from stock for food and drinks packaging.
